Someone attempting to make a new Crankshaft Crossing?

By the style of the house and the presence of the salt cedar, I'd say a.) it's in Trona. Or, b.) in Keeler.

And is it real? And if so, maybe some Chevy small block?

Appears that way to me. Take a close look at the "timing cover."

Nice. That's a mailbox in Trona. I think it was a real engine.

How about this?

Boundary marker? I've seen some boundary signs on poles, can't recall if there was also a (more permanent) stake in the ground.

I'd definitely guess it's some sort of boundary marker, too.

I'm really enjoying following this topic--great puzzles!

I'm not sure what it is. I'm guessing that on that spot in 1987, something happened. Perhaps for the 17th time.

Is this next one what I think it is? (I won't divulge the location)

Wild guess for the last one: Trona Tornadoes playfield? I'm probably way off... :)

As far as I know, Trona is the only HS playing football on dirt.

The one just above this post is a beetle track in sand.

The earlier stone structure with soot on the ceiling - a kiln?
