Someone attempting to make a new Crankshaft Crossing?
By the style of the house and the presence of the salt cedar, I'd say a.) it's in Trona. Or, b.) in Keeler.
And is it real? And if so, maybe some Chevy small block?

Boundary marker? I've seen some boundary signs on poles, can't recall if there was also a (more permanent) stake in the ground.
